3/4 berth cushions for sale
Earlier this summer I had my 3/4 berth cushions reupholstered in a off white marine quality material with heavy duty PVC zippers. I now want to do something different with the berth under the helm and was wondering if anyone is interested in purchasing them. I paid alomost 500.00 to get them done. I...

I towed my C26 200 miles to my house from it marina in northern WI about 4 months ago. I replaced all four tires as they were ariginal and once wheel bearing that was in total failure and lubed the others. The trip was uneventfull. I did have extra wheel bearings on hand just in case. Just hook it u...

Even though I've made money off every thing I've bought, 76 Harley, 73 Landcrusier, 76 Bronco, boats, cars, guns, ect. she decided to leave me after 18 years and take part of my military pension with her (so I lost money on that deal).. Least she won't be around when I bring home the military Gama-go...

Hey CPT Bondo, Check out the marina at Port Wing, WI. I'm one of only two sailboats there. It's about 40 min east of Duluth. It's kinda rustic but they have electricity and a bath house. 15 miles further down the road in cornacopia they have a bigger sailboat population and a full service marina at ...

I,m plagued by the leak issue as well. I bought my boat this past summer and put it in a slip on the south shore of lake superior. A month later I pumped 15 gallons of water out. After pulling the boat out, re-sealing the windows and storing her on land for a while I came back to find another 15 gal...

I found out through experience that most water leakage is due to the gastket failure. After removing a window, cleaning the frame and gasket I replaced it with the apropriate 3M sealer between the frame and boat. What was happening, is the water was getting between the gasket and window and leaking ...

Thanks EE. I saw two pics that give me a pretty good ideal of how to rig the boom. I have the rope and all the pullys. I was thinking I needed to rig them to the end of the boom. But I guess I was wrong. The double pully rigged to the boom with single pulley's on ether side of the cabin hatch is for...

I have the same card but this is for a C22. Does the same apply to a C26? What about bridle placement on the C-26. I took my boat out of the water for the winter today (because the harbour freezes over) and had a near catastrophe lowering the mast. The bridles were not in the right place and binded ...

I bought my boat a few months ago. It had not been in the water in 15 years. I spent about 2 solid days scrubing and cleaning, with the help of the folks on this site I raised the mast ,rigged the boat and launched it. The chrysler 10 hp didn't work but I didn't care, my boat was in the water. anoth...

My Dad use to sell Chrylers in Tuscaloosa, Al. We took a customer on a maiden voyage over in Atlanta. A storm came up on the lake and at one point while I was down in the cabin the boat was so far over I saw water come by the windows. She held steady as my father told the client the boat was designe...

Now all of a sudden I'm thirsty. Heading to Alabama in a few days and have to pick up a few cases of Leinnies to give to the folks down south. The boat is at Port Wing right now (south shore lake superior). May move it to lake pepin next summer and am fantasizing about sailing it down the mississippi.
