I have a friend in Chicago who ripped the main on his Beneteau last year. I don't know the details, but his insurance company bought him a new sail. Never hurts to try.

Y'all appear to have your priorities in order . . . A good thing.

Spending time with my daughter and other family is top of the list . . .

At the top of the selfish list is a new mainsail.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you all!

I really like the system the C26 has as designed . . . I'd stick with it.

If you have to change you might consider the Kenyon K-1264. You will need to call them to see what modifications will be needed.

Try the link below . . .

I wouldn't convert. Very expensive, a lot of work and it clutters the cockpit for starters. Stay with the tiller . . . you'll be happier.

Same here Bill! I just wish they'd get back to the Ocean again. Bondo, I get YouTube over my TV now. A cold beer, a Lazy Boy recliner and thousands of hours of sailing await. Good choice! The Mac is a great lake boat and has a huge following. Easy to sail and fast.

I agree . . . Not red anymore. Not for awhile now. Jeff's [Windward] looked just like this one when he acquired it. He put a lot of work into his and turned into the nicest C26 I've seen.

To be clear, I have nothing to do with this boat and don't know anyone connected with it. Just thought I'd say there are pictures of it out of the water available.

I personally, would pass on this boat.

Scott . . . I'd just have to move South. My best friend and fraternity brother from college lives in Kingston about a mile from the ferry. Works for Boeing. He sails a Columbia but I don't hold it against him. At least he sails. One of these day's I'm going to make him take me for a race in the Duck...
