Just clean the aluminum thru hull with some 3x steel wool to make sure its smooth and it will seal just fine. The transom is only pressurized when you are sitting still or in light air, most of the time its very minimal inward pressure. You have a better chance of it leaking at the two bilge board h...

Drain Plug
Its counter intuitive, but the plug is inserted from the inside of the boat out. Even the "factory" plug is a cam style, squeeze type pressure fitting plug that wont fit if you install it on the outside under the rudder pin. The cam or twist style should both work - you are just installing...

mcrandall - I just a little LS13 here on the Chrysler site, but my other sailboat had some foam issues... its a Halman Horizon cutter - the rudder is stern mounted and attaches to a skeg at the transom. Every time I checked when she was on the hard the skeg showed high moisture content. I eventually...

LS - 16's came w/cushions - the 13's didn't. Gu...

By the description and info on the weight limit and capacity - I would say its an LS-13. The LS-16 could carry more. If the plywood and glass cleats are rotted away - might be easiest to knock them off, sand down and epoxy paint to smooth it out? Biggest issued would be the Main Halyard cam cleat an...
