if you research backing plates on the net... the various sailing sites pretty much insist that you must bed these plates in thickened epoxy mix and they have all kinds of load calculations as to how big, how thick and what shape to make ...

I seem to get bilge water coming into the storage are from forward....of both sides..... I might look to build a dam up. There or a covered channel for the water to flow along the very bottom.....also don't like that the fuel locker gets flooded from the cockpit drains... Need to install a hose or ...

The main storage under the banquette seating on both sides gets wet and is somehow open to the bilge...... I have had to store items in water tight plastic boxes.....but now I will be putting the batteries in there, if they will fit...as part of my re wire project .... Anyone seal these off for the ...

I have been using bright sides....works a lot better if you use their primer first.... So how did you repair. Rebuild the runners?

For best function But wiring makes more sense on the port side above batteries... Still have to work on schematic diagram ...

OK, I really don't know what to do here but looks like the swithc panel & maybe battery 1+2 switch will go in the port upper "pocket" , if it all fits, and the vhf, stereo bilge and other misc. swithces will go in a new "dashboard panel" i will make and mount behind the aft port sette backs.... the ...

Aero, that is kinda the OEM setup.... I am hoping to counter a port list. And get two batteries down low. And to starboard, a panel by the galley or the aft most part of the salon settee back shelf on the starboard side with terminals to the cockpit locker to connect electro start OB.
