Re: Possible abandoned C22.
Ok, new update. The boat sat on blocks and stands all winter on the approach to the haul out well. It is now back in the slip it occupied last season. Evidently the owner paid for haul out, haul in , storage and slip fees for another season. I wish I could catch the owner at the marina sometime and ...

Re: Possible abandoned C22.
The latest update on this boat is the marina towed the boat from the slip about a week and a half ago and tied it up near the haul out well. Yesterday I went down there for a walk and the boat had been hauled out and was sitting on the approach to the haul out well. It is on blocks and stands. I am ...

Re: Possible abandoned C22.
Update on this boat. I just spoke to the marina and as of this moment they are expecting the owner to remove the boat. They have been in contact with the person and the owner has stated that it will be hauled out as soon as they get their trailer repaired. The marina told me that the owner intends o...

Possible abandoned C22.
I take walks at the Marina here in Kenosha , Wis many times a week. There is a nice blue C22 in the marina and it has not been hauled out yet. It is long past the haul out deadline here. I am going to contact the marina to see what the status is. I could not talk to them yet as they were closed for ...

I play guitar and sing.
I have been an advanced class amateur radio operator since 1974 and I am now studying for my extra class exam.
I also camp in a small Class C RV, grow tomatoes, go bicycling, shoot target pistol, do some cooking, and of course endless work around the house.

I really don't remember the turnaround time. Just give them a call and ask, they probably aren't very busy this time of year.

Re: OEM Standing Rigging ?
In 2011 I put up my mast and adjusted the rigging properly. I then took the mast down and removed the standing rigging, marking each piece and coiling them up. I called Seco South in Largo, Florida. They instructed me to ship the old rigging to them. I shipped it UPS...don't remember the cost but it...

Welcome to the forum. If you have any questions about work the I have done on my C22 restoration, feel free to message me at astrorad1@wi.rr.com It is quite a coincidence that you started with an O'Day Javelin and are now moving up to a C22, as I no longer own a C22 and have moved down to an O'Day J...

Just posting to keep the forum alive. My C22, Wabi Sabi, is now in the possesion of the Kenosha Community Sailing Center. She will probably see more use than I was able to give her. I now own a 1984 O'Day Javelin 14, which needs absolutely no work. I hope to sail her on the numerous inland lakes in ...

I donated my C22 to charity.
Well folks, after trying to sell my C22, Wabi Sabi, with absolutely no one inquiring about her all summer long, I am donating her to our local Community Sailing Center. I advertised in many different Facebook selling groups, in Sailing Texas website, and on Craigslist and not one bite. Started out a...

Another option, should your old rudder start to deteriorate, is to buy a replacement rudder from Rudder Craft. I did that and was very pleased with their product. The Rudder Craft rudder is neutral buoyancy. I floated mine in the bathtub, on its side, and it floated with the upper side just at the w...
