At 18-25 mph winds you are in over my pay grade!!!!!! Good goin' sauerleigh!!!

For 5 weeks earlier this summer we had a young man from South Africa staying with us. I took him out once, his first time also, and while it was fun the winds were pretty light, 5 mph or thereabouts.

astrodad is correct with his wire size/amperage. I do it every day for a living. To calculate total loads just add up your wattage then divide by 12 and you will have the amps at 12 volts. Load your wire and fuse/breaker to no more than 80% of capacity. As an example, if you have a 20 amp. breaker, ...

Japan is washing up on the shores of Washington? Wow....here in the Ozarks things like that cross our mind. The world really isn't that big, is it. Those folks over there have taken a beating. Just rain here....and rain...and rain. Fortunately for us all the bad stuff has gone either north or south ...

My first sail boat was a Chrysler Buccaneer. What I knew about sailing could have been put in thimble with room left, not that I know much more now. Lots of folks on this site helped a totally ignorant newbie get going. The Bucc is gone, replaced by a bigger boat and a smaller boat, neither of which...
