Hey Jeremiah! I use a pin on the tack for the main sail. Surprised though that you think yours is too low as I have the boom below the mast gate and a rope to pull down the boom some more after I raise the main. When I reef the main I have to raise the boom above the mast gate or the main just is ug...

Congrats! But you gotta know the temptation to sail will nag you and slow progress on EE! 😆 That's why my project boat is still a project... but hey... it's all good! After 6 yrs may it may splash by the end of summer and be done the way we want without missing any needed time on the water too! Billy

Ok... I bought a storm sail for our C22 from the warehouse and it was well made and I have no complaints. When I bought the new main I used a local sailmaker with a good rep. Amazing the difference it made, but still using tired original foresails. I did put on new tell tails on the foresails to hel...

Hey Scott... You can still use the ones I sent you and you sent back. They're probably still in your box! Have plenty of work to do on the 27 and my original C22 brackets are holding up fine. I have no desire to tackle another keel project until the 27 is done and the brackets start showing signs of...

9 degrees here tonight! When we take out we clean the bottom an topside with a weak bleach solution in a 5 gallon bucket then rise with fresh water. We winter our C22 in the shop... Don't forget to empty the water from the depth sounder if you have one inside the hull like me! When I winterize the o...

Definitely recommend using the gin pole an bridles! Cheap insurance really. It's a stout heavy mast. My wife and I easily use this system an take our time. Lil things can happen with crappy outcomes. If the mast swings you can break the hook an base plate. If the shrouds bind up you bend your turnbu...
