I'd like some more info on it too. Is it cut for the backstay? Tried sending you an email but MSN says your email does not exist.

Thanks all for the input.

Monty - could you post some pictures of the engine area? The boat is in Arizona, I'm in Minnesota and the owner is less that helpful.

26 with an inboard

Did the 26 ever come with an inboard diesel? I've spent some time searching and have found nothing so I am guessing not. There is one in AZ that has one in it, the price is cheap enough now that the drive could be worth it?

Being from the same area as Capt Bondo I have yet to find any decent charts much less anything with clearances. Capt. Bondo sails on the St. Croix River and I have never seen any NOAA charts for the area. The lake listed in the link is Lac La Croix which the USA side is in the Boundary Waters Canoe ...

Sorry to hear that. His website is a huge source of information. I have used it extensively while researching boats; I would hate to see his site go. Does anyone have any contact information?

I have used uship in the past for oversize items. You list what you have, size, weight, and to/from locations and shippers will email you with a quote. You mainly get truck drivers with partial loads that will throw it on their truck.

I'm not sure on the VIN but I believe it is on the data plate on the tongue. For the brake controller it doesn't get any better than the Prodigy. http://www.brakecontroller.com/prodigy1.htm you can find it cheaper, this is the first link I came across. I use this for my C22 and a large camper. For t...

Don't get me wrong it's very beautiful boat with a lot of hard work and money put into it, I would love to have it. I was not factoring in your location versus mine which probably makes a huge difference in value, not much of a sailboat market in central Minnesota . Best of luck in your sale.

$12,900 for a C26

Does this seem a little high or am I just cheap? It does look real nice, seems to come with quite a bit, and new rigging but no trailer. I'm not looking to buy this just curious on others opinion on the price.

It looks kind of like it has the poptop. the galley slides under the starboard side cockpit locker and is on a track. It was a factory option that my boat had but was removed at some point, I would like to find one someday. Now that I look closer at your photos I do not see the sink drain thru-hull ...

A good pressure washing and it will look great. I wish I had the poptop option, you'll like that if you overnight on the boat. Do you have the sliding galley?

Capt. Bondo - A flotilla sound like a great idea for next summer. I would be more than happy to do any of the planning. :D

I also have the hi res manuals hosted on my site. You can download the zip file here:

This has all the Chrysler manuals in the zip. Just trying to save some of EE's bandwidth.

Yep, just run a couple lines up through the rudder post and I have a jam cleat on the tiller to hold the rudder up. I don't secure it down as I want it to kick up if I hit ground. I also added handles and color coded just to make everything easier.
