What is your earliest sailing recollection? Your story?

Just getting to know you guys! What is your earliest sailing memory? How did you get to sailing today? Mine? As a kid around fourth grade my dad got a wild hair and brought a Sunfish home! He took me sailing on Moses Lake Wa. I clearly remember the cold air, water spray, and ducking under the sail w...

That most certainly is a better way however I did not have space enough on this boat to slip it up inside. It also would conflict with the locking mechanism. I'd have to split the cover to allow for a pad lock. I opted to go easy for now. I can however try again on Lady Jo! I have already made the c...

Ha Ha!
I kind of associated the comment to myself when I read it! If I had a dollar for every mistake I made,

I still would not have enough to cover what they cost me! LOL!

I'm hoping for an answer here too. I'll not likely do it but it is intriguing!

Opinions on my site?

Hey all, As most of you know I have my own site and play regularly with it. I just added today a weather link on my main menu and was wondering what you all think about it. I'm teaching myself PHP and also how to pull RSS feeds, read and redisplay them the way I want. The link to my new weather page...

Hey Alan, those lights look very nice! I like the taller stern light so it is visible over the outboard motor when it is up! I glanced at the bow light and from behind it looked great. I did not look at the front though! It was cold and I wanted to get home before the roads froze! I'd love to see ho...

I've tried several places for used and I've already forgotten which ones! LOL! Guess I'm getting old! My desire for a used main is slowly dwindling and I'm starting to get a mind set of just buying a new main. I do, however, have to get some more classes going before I have cash flow enough to serio...

Got the second companion way cover done tonight. Now I need to get some snaps and get the covers on! It went faster tonight. Less sewing machine issues ( read USER issues ) Some of my lines are even a tad straighter! LOL! I'm using blue thread on blue sunbrella so it is hard to see my screw-ups! Whe...

Thanks again for the input, Yeah, I'm very slowly starting to lean towards a new main and a used Jib. Good thing is I'm in no hurry. So I can simply just save up the money over time. If I get desparate enough, I can borrow the sails from "Lady Jo" just to get "Lady Di" in the wat...

Wow!
That is excellent info.

The docs on chrysler lizard site lead me to believe the dimensions were much closer that than. Guess the best thing is to measure mine. Since the mast is up it will be easy to do.

Thanks for the input!

First of all, you have to remove the "flickr" that is before the "HTTP" statement. Then it will work as a web link or URL not an img. Like this http://www.flickr.com/photos/34432376@N06/ I don't see where Flickr offers a "link to Photo" type service but since I'm famili...
