Towing

So, reading all of the posts, i still dont get a good picture of what the c22 and trailer weigh ? i'm thinking about geting a new honday ridgeline with a tow capacity of 5000, I'm thinking it should be ok, in the past i had a fried tow us with a ford sport trac which had a tow capacity of 5300 an dh...

It may be late, but for what it's worth, I had my spreader bases break also, gave them to a guy who welds aluminum, he fixed them up and they are mint! A local welding shop that works with aluminum should be able to help...p.s I'm a big fan of repairing and trying to keep thing looking close to OEM.

Thanks guy's I haven't dropped off , just haven't been reading as frequently as I would like to be. Work has been crazy, we have picked up a couple of new national restaurant clients, with the travel , new future homestead etc. etc. well you all know what it's like! I'll post a few pics soon.

I had that issue, the answer was to install some foam tape under the the hatches, so when closed they compress and form a seal. Once I did this no more water....

Thats so last week! I did that on the AnneMarie this past summer, just healed her over, tied off the tiller and hoped right on over the rail...was a bit slippery though... next time I'll wear my trout fishing wading shoes and take a scrub brush with me to clean off the green slime! :lol: :lol: :lol:

I highly recommend http://www.secosouth.com for standing rigging. They are located in Largo,FL and did right by me. I raised my mast and adjusted my old rigging, took it down and shipped it to them for $ 17 UPS. About two weeks later my old rigging and the new rigging was at my door. Cost...$ 412.8...

I love wooden boat magazine! I have had a subscription on and off to it for years now and i cannot seem to bring myself to throw a single copy away! I'm glad that its available digitally however nothing beats having that fine glossy paper in your hands! :D
